We recently welcomed our valued growers to a relaxed and engaging evening at Tern Hill Hall for this year’s Growers Conference. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to reconnect, share experiences, and openly discuss questions with our team.
The evening began with a welcome from Ricky Mehta, followed by hosting from our very own Michelle Davies, who guided the night with her trademark energy and enthusiasm. Directors from Maelor Foods and Salisbury Poultry were also in attendance, offering updates on current business developments and sharing insights into future plans for the companies.
One of the highlights of the event was the chance to recognise and celebrate the growers who have shown exceptional commitment to Maelor Foods. During a special awards ceremony, we honoured those who have been growing with us for five years or more, acknowledging the vital role they play in our continued success.
We closed the evening on a generous and uplifting note with a live charity auction. Thanks to the incredible support and contributions from everyone involved, we raised over £5,000 for Shropshire Rural Support, an organisation dedicated to assisting farmers, families, and rural workers across our region.
The conference was a fantastic reminder of the strength and spirit of our grower community. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to such a memorable night.
